Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP), a non-profit 501c3, is looking for a hands-on Marketing Director to develop and execute a cohesive strategy. TCAP was established to end animal overpopulation and improve community animal welfare by providing low-cost preventative services throughout North Texas.

TCAP’s Marketing Director is responsible for leading all marketing efforts. They will work closely with the Executive Director to develop strategic marketing and communication plans. Responsibilities include brand strategy, data analysis and campaign execution. The Marketing Director will also develop marketing collateral, grow the social media presence and manage both internal and external communications.

Key Areas of Focus:

Brand Management

  • Maintain and safeguard the integrity of the TCAP brand in all channels including social media and online reviews
  • Ensure that TCAP Brand guidelines are followed in all collateral


Content Marketing

  • Create engaging social media content to increase awareness
  • Oversee the content and design of TCAP web properties (WordPress)
  • Designing marketing materials for vaccine clinics, promotions and other events
  • Creating monthly newsletter / magazine and other materials to be sent to clients via email
  • Designing and ordering promotional items


CRM

  • Develop email and SMS campaigns based on data-driven insights
  • Create automated marketing programs to nurture clients and donors
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation platforms (Salesforce)
  • Performance Marketing
  • Experience with managing paid digital advertising (Google Ads, Ad-serving platforms, Facebook, etc.)


Analytics

  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing and sales data
  • Develop actionable insights from this data
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Google Analytics

We are looking for candidates that have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business and/or related field
  • Minimum five years’ worth of experience in strategic marketing and implementing plans
  • Excellent writing and content creation skills
  • Ability to build consensus among stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of social media for marketing
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
