Wage band range $69,000.00 - $104,500.00 annually. However, starting pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity. Position is eligible for Bilingual pay incentive. Position can be located in Goleta or Santa Maria office.
Under the guidance of the Regional Director of Santa Barbara County, the SAFTY Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Safe Alternatives for Treating Youth Program, data collection and analysis, and assisting with clinical needs/supervision as needed. Responsibilities include carrying out the mission of Casa Pacifica as it relates to individualized behavioral interventions, Safety Plans and Family Recover Plans as needed at a child's home, school, or other community settings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (illustrated by typical activities):
CREDENTIALS: Current Ph.D/Psy.D, LCSW, or LMFT.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use various computer software. Bilingual in Spanish, preferred. Knowledge of Title 22 and Division 6 licensing requirements. Must demonstrate strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. Strong human relations skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, budgets, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, and ratios. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Ability to design and maintain a budget.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Supervisory Skills: Ability to effectively supervise and motivate others to perform. Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Ability to interview and hire well-suited candidates and to provide/oversee discipline as needed. Ability to address complaints and resolve problems.

- Provides supervision and evaluation of all program staff.
- Implements program policies and procedures, coordinates program services delivery and maintains effective working relationships within the community being served.
- Maintains regulatory and licensing standards within the program. Prepares and submits all required reports and completes special assignments as delegated by the Director of Community Services.
- Assists the Clinical Supervisor and clinicians in the planning, development, and implementation of treatment interventions that are family friendly, creative and committed to excellence in the service delivery.
- Coordinates on-the-job training and orientation for new staff.
- Provides on-call back-up service for program, as needed, and participates in rotating emergency administrative back-up for evenings and weekends.
- Cooperates and communicates effectively within the organizational structure as well as the community at large.
- Assumes casework responsibilities as needed.
- Serves as a liaison to public and private agencies within the Santa Barbara County referring network.
- Assists with special assignments delegated by the Director of Community Services
- Other duties as assigned.
