Requires a motivated individual who believes in Cooper’s mission to serve, to heal, and to educate to improve the lives of Cooper patients and the communities it serves and is committed to serving and educating members of Cooper’s healthcare and administrative teams to fulfill that mission.

 

This is an advanced position. Candidate must be able to work independently and collaborate with other professionals and departments under the supervision of the SVP and Chief Legal Officer and Deputy General Counsel. Must be able to lead projects with minimal oversight and to supervise paralegals and junior attorneys as directed.

 

Must be eager to learn and take direction from the SVP and Chief Legal Officer and Deputy General Counsel. Projects a positive attitude and fosters a team approach with his or her colleagues. 

 

Must possess excellent legal research and writing skills in addition to having the desire, disposition, and integrity necessary to work well with fellow members of Cooper’s legal department, members of Cooper’s healthcare and administrative departments, outside and opposing counsel, and court personnel.
