- Create a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Design and implement curriculum that integrates Indiana State Standards and hands-on activities to ensure effective and efficient instruction.
- Continuously improve teaching practice through reflection and collaboration with colleagues and external professional learning networks.
- Deploy a variety of instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Effectively plan and execute lessons that build daily work into long term, impressive student products.
- Serve as parent liaison for crew students.
- Attend and participate in professional development, open houses, student-led parent conferences, home visits, one school improvement committee, and other school functions.
- Display professionalism at all times as a role model for the students and guardian of school mission, core values, and culture.
- Deliver reports and documentation critical to tracking student performance and school compliance with high levels of organization.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure artistic representation of core content in final products each semester.
