Managed Care Biller

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Managed Care Biller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and submitting claims to managed care organizations, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and facilitating payment processing. The ideal candidate should have experience working with managed care contracts, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and understand managed care contracts to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
• Prepare and submit claims to managed care organizations, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Conduct thorough reviews of claims to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.
• Communicate with payers and providers to resolve billing issues and disputes.
• Analyze and investigate denied claims, appealing when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of claims submissions, payments, and adjustments.
• Stay updated on changes in managed care regulations, guidelines, and policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless billing and payment processes.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Health Information Management, Billing and Coding, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in managed care billing.
• Strong knowledge of managed care contracts, regulations, and guidelines.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
  

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CPC-H certification preferred.
