We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and safety standards. This individual will collaborate closely with the production, design, and quality teams to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate process inefficiencies, production delays, and quality concerns, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze production data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize production workflows.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Lead the application of Lean principles and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to reduce waste and enhance process efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure smooth production processes and product specifications are met.
  • Training: Train and mentor manufacturing personnel on best practices, process updates, and equipment operation.
  • Documentation: Ensure all process changes and improvements are properly documented and aligned with industry standards and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficient in using CAD software and process simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • SolidWorks, CAD/CAM Circuit Design, Six Sigma, CFD, Mathematica, MathLab, Python, other programing languages a plus.
  • Because of sensitive information, we require all candidates that receive and accept employment offers to complete a background check and testing before being hired. Must be eligible to participate in federally funded research and development programs which protect CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) and are restricted by the EAR (Export Administration Regulations) the ITAR (International traffic in Arms Regulations) and DOD Distribution Statement D-E.
  • Must be a naturalized U.S. citizen or qualify as a U.S. person


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in [specific industry, e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics].
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
