Patient Scheduler - CENTRAL SCHEDULING, Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Richland, WA

Under the direction of the Patient Access/Central Scheduling Coordinator & Manager, Patient Access/Central Scheduling Representative- Level II, verifies orders, schedules, and registers, verifies insurance coverage and benefits, creates estimates, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements; Participates in the collection of up-front revenue due to the facility; Provides quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of General office experience with public interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework/Training: Courses in medical terminology.
  • Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience.
  • Medical setting experience.

Pay Range: $ 18.82 - $ 28.20

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
