Public Relations Assistant

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Compensation: $17.50 - $25.00 / hour

• Assist in drafting and editing press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials.


• Support the planning and execution of public relations campaigns and events.


• Maintain and update media lists and databases to ensure accurate and effective outreach.


• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on public relations activities and impact.


• Collaborate with team members to develop social media strategies that align with PR goals.


• Research industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for media engagement.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.


• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic principles of digital marketing.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design tools.


• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
