The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, strategic planning and risk mitigation experience, leadership presence to manage high performing teams, and strong executive presentation skills.

    • Long term: Strategic Operations Planning and Capacity Planning
  • Ensure plans are driven by forecasts provided by sales and marketing and integrated with appropriate financial planning processes and plans.
  • Facilitate the appropriate periodic meetings and forums for aligning and communicating the operational plans across all relevant functions, including addressing projected supply shortages or excess.
  • Drive capacity and inventory strategies and plans that optimize working capital, enable growth, and mitigate obsolescence risk.
  • Work with the broader supply chain team to design and deploy supply networks for producing finished goods and spares to support customer demand and growth.
  • Ensure new product introductions (NPIs) are successfully incorporated into planning and inventory management tools, processes, and plans to ensure success of the NPI.
  • Develop an overall strategy for maintaining and managing all inventory pools across all facilities: raw materials, work in process, finished goods, spare parts, and R&D materials.
  • Ensure proper inventory management processes are in place to provide solid inventory controls, ensure inventory gets to relevant parties in a timely manner, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Provide leadership on ERP implementation as Business Process Architect
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department, set targets against each KPI, report on a regular basis to management, and use them to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead a team of individual contributors in inventory, materials movement, production scheduling, materials planning, and demand planning.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and a commitment to continuous process improvement with the team as well as internal stakeholders.
About You

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain functions with fundamental understanding and direct experience in relevant supply chain strategy and operations- including SIOP processes across the relevant functions of the business.

  • Experience in a startup where developing processes and mechanisms for scalability across a company's life stages has been demonstrated.
  • Proven track record of recruiting, managing and developing teams and leading teams through transformational change while facilitating cross functional involvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage and interact with all teams, areas, and levels of the company impacting the planning process.
  • Ability to calm a storm and hold a great sense of humor
