Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities to achieve profitable orders targets in a profitable way and to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. Manager will execute sales strategies while building and maintaining the highest level of customer engagement with the primary objective of meeting or exceeding profitable order growth targets within assigned region.
Essential Functions

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. However, depending on workload there may be occasional longer days and occasional weekends as needed. Employee is expected to work the hours necessary in order to timely and satisfactorily complete all necessary work tasks.
Travel
Travel is required for this position.

Summary/Objective

- Remain cognizant of all market segments in which company serves.
- Collaborating with management to establish and execute profitable sales goals for the region.
- Opportunity development, quote creation, and closure.
- Developing and implementing sales account plans by customer segment and accounts.
- Developing specific plans to ensure profitable growth both long and short-term.
- Forecasting and delivering annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals.
- Participating in regional industry committee meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
- Conduct customer product awareness training seminars.
- Regional travel 50% of the time.

Required Education And Experience
- Associate degree and 10 years' combination experience in technical sales function
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years' combination experience in technical sales function
- Bachelors' degree in electrical engineering
- 8+ years' experience in the electrical industry
- 3 + years sales and/or marketing experience
- Technical and analytical aptitude
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department in the Office and Factory Floor.
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Employee is expected to work the hours necessary in order to timely and satisfactorily complete all necessary work tasks.
