Job Summary

The Group Facilitator for Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment will lead therapeutic groups for individuals undergoing treatment for mental health issues and substance use disorders. The facilitator will provide guidance, structure, and support to participants, using evidence-based practices and group therapy techniques to promote recovery, coping skills, and personal development.

  • Facilitate Group Therapy Sessions:
    • Lead structured group therapy sessions for clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
    • Foster a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment to encourage active participation.
    • Use evidence-based treatment modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing) tailored to the group’s needs.



  • Client Support & Engagement:
    • Support clients in their recovery journey by addressing both mental health and substance use issues in a holistic way.
    • Encourage and empower clients to build coping skills, resilience, and self-awareness.
    • Offer individual check-ins as needed to discuss progress, barriers, and concerns.



  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of group sessions, including attendance, participation, and client progress.
    • Provide feedback to clinical team members regarding group dynamics, client behavior, and treatment progress.
    • Prepare regular reports on group activities and client progress for treatment planning and evaluation.



  • Ensure Compliance:
    • Adhere to all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in mental health and substance use treatment.
    • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.



  • Professional Development:
    • Stay informed on current best practices in mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
    • Participate in training, supervision, and workshops to continuously improve facilitation skills and treatment knowledge.

  • H.S Diploma
  • Excellent communication

  • RADT


Schedule

Part-time & Full-time

  • Monday - Friday (11:30pm-8:00pm)
  • Monday- Friday (8:00am-4:30pm)
