Objectives of this Role
An exciting long-term contract position (approximately 24 months) exists within our BarnesWORX community for a Talent Acquisition Advisor at our Barnes Aerospace Ogden site. As Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will utilize your passion for connecting talent to career opportunities by creatively sourcing candidates via online methods, social networks, and referrals. While doing so, you’ll build strong relationships with business leaders across Barnes Aerospace to infuse critical manufacturing talent into the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Source and interview the most qualified, diverse slate of candidates for associate (non-exempt) to entry level manager (exempt) positions across multiple functional areas in Barnes Aerospace, with a focus on manufacturing operations.
- Partner with hiring managers in determining and developing their strategies for current and future staffing needs.
- Manage and update requisitions via the Barnes ATS for posting on the company website and job boards.
- Coordinate the interviewing process between internal stakeholders and candidates and facilitate the employment offer process.
- Develop strong talent pipelines for key roles to create efficiencies in the hiring process.
- Seek opportunities to enhance the employee value proposition of Barnes Aerospace working collaboratively with HR and Business Leaders.
- Generate recruiting reports and monitor metrics to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts (time to fill, retention, etc.)
- Identify improvements to the current Corporate Staffing practices and processes (best practice knowledge) to meet customer and candidate expectations.
- Actively conduct exploratory interviews to create a candidate pipeline of talent.
- Participate in careers fairs and conferences as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources field; a focus on recruiting in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Job Boards; UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro) software preferred.
- Demonstrated performance with advising hiring managers on recruiting and sourcing tactics/strategies.
- Strong understanding of recruiting technologies and products. Excellent computer and internet skills to source and engage talent. Established candidate database preferred.
- Relationship building and consultative skills required. Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and practices desired.
- Project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced business environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with all levels internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently to complete required tasks.
- Self-directed, flexible, and ability to effectively prioritize. Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, confidentiality and commitment.
- Ability to work in the mornings, evenings, or weekends as necessary to be available to candidates.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, related field, or commensurate recruiting experience.
