Insurance Verification Specialist

In Motion O.C.

Date: 16 hours ago
City: Irvine, CA
Salary: $18 - $21 per hour
Contract type: Full time

Welcome to In Motion O.C., where we’re not just about physical therapy—we’re in the business of changing lives! Our state-of-the-art, 10,000+ sq. ft. facility in Irvine (with growing locations in Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, and Fullerton!) is ranked #1 in the nation on Yelp and Google Reviews.

Our Mission? To bring hope, healing, confidence, and joy to others. If that sounds like something you’d love to be a part of—keep reading!

What We’re All About

At In Motion O.C., we live and breathe our Core Values:

  • Integrity – Do the right thing, always.
  • Caring Environment – We support our patients and each other.
  • Positive Attitude – Bring those good vibes!
  • Growth – We’re all about improving.
  • Teamwork – We win together.
  • Excellence – Be the best at what you do.

If you’re a detail-loving, problem-solving insurance whiz who enjoys helping people and keeping things running smoothly—you might be our perfect match!

What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Your Superpowers)

  • Be the Benefits Guru – Verify physical therapy benefits for new clients, reverify benefits when plan years renew, and make sure patients know exactly what’s covered.
  • Data Entry Wizardry – Accurately input patient, insurance, and authorization info into our EMR system so everything runs like clockwork.
  • Authorization Aficionado – Know when authorizations are needed, request them, track them, and renew them when necessary.
  • Billing Backup – Support the billing team by collecting payments and then posting claims in the EMR. This requires an understanding of numbers and the ability to learn how the billing system works (because let’s be real—insurance can be tricky!).
  • Report Rockstar – Stay on top of claims, authorizations, and clinical issues to ensure everything stays smooth sailing.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in insurance verification (this isn’t your first rodeo!).
  • Physical therapy knowledge? Huge plus!
  • If you don’t have PT experience but have the drive, team spirit, and desire to learn—we’d love to hear from you!
  • Willingness to learn billing and be a key part of the department.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Growth Opportunities – We love seeing our team thrive!
  • Benefits:
  • Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time Off (because rest is important!)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (Day shift, no weekends!)
  • Location: Irvine, CA (in-person)

Ready to Join the Fun?

We’d love to meet you!
