The Role

The People Operations Coordinator is part of the People Operations team, the team responsible for designing progressive human-centered solutions that are simple, meaningful, and cultivate a positive, productive, and engaging Amper (employee) experience.

You will play an integral role by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our people data and serving as a key point of contact for essential operational processes such as interview scheduling, onboarding, offboarding, and office management. You’ll be the first point of contact for many candidates and guests and will create a warm and welcoming experience from the first moment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented person with a customer-focused mindset to gain broad experience and play a pivotal role in a growing company.

Interesting Problems

  • Workplace experience - performs tasks to ensure office space is clean, comfortable, and conducive to a productive work environment
  • Reception - welcome visitors to the office and announce their arrival to the appropriate internal employee(s)
  • Candidate scheduling - deliver a great candidate & hiring manager experience through scheduling interviews & debriefs while meeting scheduling SLAs
  • Employee data maintenance -
    • Accurate and timely data entry into people systems such as Namely
    • Maintenance of employee files
    • Coordination with Payroll, Finance, and IT Security to ensure updates are processed
  • Employee lifecycle process support - (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, job changes, personal data changes, benefits enrollment, service anniversaries)
  • Administrative & people programs support - (e.g, engagement surveys, employer brand, performance review cycles)

About You

  • High attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
  • Standout customer focus, and care deeply about delivering a high-quality experience
  • Experience using HR systems and business productivity tools (Google suite, Microsoft Office etc.)
  • Handles routine tasks following set guidelines while recognizing a different approach may be needed at times.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Action-oriented mindset with a proven ability to identify needs and proactively solve problems, even when tasks may not be explicitly outlined.

This role will be in the office 5 days per week

Compensation

Base Salary: $54,000 - $68,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
