Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise

Position Summary
Archer is in the process of building an in-house production team at its headquarters in San Jose, CA. This team is charged with developing content for a variety of needs—including social media, web, pitch decks, events and more. The content producer will help to creatively brainstorm new ideas for this team and bring them to life, on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is both a creative thinker and a logistician, capable of seeing a project through from start to finish

Position Summary

The ideal candidate is both a creative thinker and a logistician, capable of seeing a project through from start to finish
- Be an idea machine—create video concepts aligned with business goals and build storyboards to convey ideas to stakeholders.
- Work with the Head of Production to dial-in Archer’s creative style—up-leveling our production quality with every new project.
- Coordinate with teams externally and internally to plan shoots, managing logistics and creative needs.
- Develop and manage relationships across technical teams to ensure quality storytelling and technical accuracy
- Prepare shot lists, schedules, and call sheets to ensure efficient production.
- Manage time and budgets effectively, handling single-day or multi-week shoots locally, out-of-state, or internationally.
- Lead shoot days, keeping the team on schedule, resolving challenges, and managing feedback rounds to deliver polished videos.
- Support with video equipment and provide hands-on support during production to ensure quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a Producer or Production Manager position at an agency, production company, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department.
- Highly creative, organized with attention to detail, able to carry multiple projects in parallel, a great communicator and has the ability to turn challenges into opportunities for growth.
- Proven ability to motivate teams, work cross-functionally and pitch ideas to leadership.
- Regional and international travel required, some weekend work required.
- Hands-on experience with editing and operating a camera or other video/audio equipment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production equipment across cameras, lighting and sound along with experience procuring proper equipment to deliver desired production quality
- Established network of local freelance shooters and editors preferred
- 4-5 days a week in-office at Archer’s HQ in San Jose, CA.
