Part-Time Marketing Coordinator (Employee)

Location: Hybrid (Remote, preferred local to Indiana)

Hours: 10-15 hours per week (Preferred window: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM ET, flexible)

Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour

About the Role

Onya is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support content creation, social media execution, email marketing, and influencer outreach across multiple clients. This role involves organizing content calendars, scheduling posts, writing captions, and assisting with blog and website updates. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills and a marketing background.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage content calendars for social media and email marketing.
• Write compelling social media captions, email copy, and blog content.
• Design graphics and branded materials using Canva (with pre-made templates).
• Assist in producing, editing, and scheduling reels for social media.
• Schedule and manage posts using Sendible (training provided).
• Coordinate and send pitches to influencers for collaborations and partnerships.
• Support email marketing efforts, including writing, formatting, and scheduling campaigns.
• Assist in website updates, including blog publishing and minor content edits.
• Support internal marketing efforts, including creating slide decks and presentations in Canva.
• Collaborate with internal teams via Slack, Google Drive, and ClickUp to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of social media, email marketing, and influencer outreach.
• Experience using Canva and ChatGPT to generate content and designs.
• Familiarity with website content management (basic WordPress or similar experience preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple content calendars.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment: Primarily remote, but a local candidate in Indiana is preferred for occasional in-person collaboration.
