Material Coordinator

The Material Coordinator is responsible for creating requisitions, purchase orders and receiving and inspection of fuel postings into the government software.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain, verify and calculate DOD fuel bills for over 20 sites around the U.S.
- Manage all Government Fuel tickets in support of contract.
- Maintain statistical database for all fuel transactions to measure effectiveness of the fuel operation.
- Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality policies, procedures and practices as outlined in Amentum’s policy manual, training materials and other publications.
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Must have 1 year of data entry related experience.
- Must be proficient in Office software applications to communicate through e-mail and various software applications.; especially Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to meet required deadlines and maintain necessary workflow.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the CBP DHS Background Investigation Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of U.S. Army inventory management systems and techniques is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- Work is performed in an office environment that is moderately lighted, heated and ventilated.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods.
- The employee must be a team player and must work well in close proximity to other employees.
- Frequently lifts items weighing 15-25 pounds.
