The Human Resources Coordinator provides essential support to the HR department, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, recordkeeping, and administrative tasks. This role ensures smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support, including answering calls, filing, and assisting with events.
- Maintain accurate HR records, both physical and electronic, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting jobs and creating new hire files.
- Assist with HR projects, payroll processing, and other tasks as directed.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and empathy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- 2+ years of HR experience or equivalent education.
- Experience with payroll, HRIS, or similar systems is preferred.
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
- Primarily sedentary with occasional filing and standing.
- Ability to lift files, bend, and use a computer for extended periods.
