Ambulance Billing Specialist

Healthfleet Ambulance in Philadelphia is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of the healthcare industry.
• 1+ years medical billing required
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and issues at a time.
• Knowledge of latest collection principles and procedures.
• Strong Knowledge of ICD 10 codes
• Work independently with knowledge of payor medical policies, coding requirements and the ability to effectively read and understand payor explanation of benefits.
• Maintain good client relations and provide customer service in line with the issues and complaints raised by customers/clients.
• Work in accordance with the organization's standards, practices and policies, along with government regulations and standards.
• Work in coordination with all departments to meet organizational goals.
• Knowledge of payor portals
• General knowledge of government payors.
• Medicare experience a plus.
• High school or equivalent
