Job Responsibilities
The RN in Rehab provides direct patient care by utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Southwestern Medical Center. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties within the scope of practice of a RN according to the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act. Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care.

Qualifications
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Registered Nurse License issued by the State of Oklahoma or as part of a compact.
- BLS
- NIH Stroke Annually (and obtains by end of Clinical Nursing Orientation)
- Oklahoma Rights & Responsibilities Certificate (Medical Treatment Laws Information Act) every 2 years (and obtains by end of Clinical Nursing Orientation)
- Quality Indicators Testing Annually (and obtains within 6mo of hire)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Maintains education and development appropriate for position
