Summary

As an In Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate support to clients in their homes. This position is essential to our mission of providing exceptional care, enabling clients to maintain their independence while receiving the assistance they need.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor clients' health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans based on individual client needs.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care progress.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in caregiving or home health support roles.
• Strong understanding of home care practices and client needs.
• Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks such as checking vital signs.
• Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing client needs.
• First aid certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in group homes or similar settings is a plus.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
