Description

Ring is seeking a Business Analyst to own, design, and maintain subscriptions reporting and business planning processes. We are passionate about our mission and look for a similarly passionate analyst to drive forecasting and reporting, strategic assessments, project valuation, and data analysis. This is a key role where, as a member of the subscriptions team, you will ensure that the customer journey is being effectively defined and measured in order to drive both a better customer experience and subscription growth on a global scale.

You will focus on deep diving underlying input drivers, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, GTM, Product, and Sales partners to connect outputs and translate them into insights to inform and execute business decisions. You will identify & monitor key drivers influencing subscription performance (e.g., acquisition, cost-to-serve, monetization, retention, etc.) and help be the voice of the customer as you work with data and subscriptions leaders to set the strategy and define the future roadmap. A successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with BI and Finance to create comprehensive operational plans and financial models for subscription revenue, growth, and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain performance measurement framework, including key metrics (e.g., ARR, ARPU, Churn, etc.) to be leveraged during business reviews and operational planning
  • Track business performance against goals and contribute to goal reviews with leadership; develop and implement policies and programs to maintain and improve profitability
  • Work with cross-functional partners to deliver projects such as new program/product launches, innovations, and cohort analysis that help us better serve customers.
  • Dive deep into subscriptions analytics and customer feedback, discovering and evangelizing insights within the team and across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
  • 3+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
