Role description:

Arcadis is looking for an Architectural Designer to join our team in Boca Raton for work on industrial projects.

Role accountabilities:

• Contributes to the development of light industrial distribution buildings architectural designs by preparing models and working drawings following company standards using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinates architectural design with civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, and physical security disciplines
• Prepares design development presentations and construction working drawing packages
• Prepares submission packages under the direction of the architect or job captain/project leader, to meet project timelines
• Produces drawings and details in compliance with codes and standards
• Assist with contract administration tasks such as shop drawing reviews and response to RFIs
• Manages workload and budget required for the completion of assigned tasks
• Liaises closely with Architect, Job Captain and other designers
• Work on multiple projects at the same time
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 years' experience in architectural field, designing complex projects with a preference toward industrial experience
• Registration with NCARB and AIA membership is an asset.
• Strong experience with Revit and AutoCAD are mandatory
• Great detailing knowledge and skills
• Experienced with MS Office, MS Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam
• Must have good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
