Job Description

As a Network Targeting Analyst at Parsons, you will work with development teams and mission owners to find and interpret the best data to provide to the customer; “the needle in the haystack of needles.” Strong understanding of networks, telecommunications systems, and protocols is required for this position.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leverage a wide variety of tools to pinpoint relevant information and provide timely feedback to stakeholders to ensure mission success.
  • Work with large datasets, choosing the proper tools to organize and analyze
  • Analyze packet data and binary data to extract valuable information
  • Interact daily with customers, developers, and other project stakeholders
  • Reverse Engineering and/or Protocol Reverse Engineering and/or Device/Network Fingerprinting

What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience
  • Must have active Top Secret with Poly clearance
  • 3+ years of Wireshark or similar network analysis tools
  • Fundamental understanding of networks, routers, and protocols (e.g. Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc)
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring
