PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst Journeyman to support our government customer, remotely and with travel requirements to Albany, GA (MSC location).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific tasks include the following support for the DMAG Business Office:

  • Provide technical and functional expertise to ensure the Navy ERP solution supports NAVAIR Financial Accounting business operational requirements.
  • Monitor and resolve user trouble calls/tickets using NHDSM, support data calls, develop and maintain process documentation, training materials and knowledge management articles, and develop, collect, and analyze business metrics.
  • Support includes participation in DMAG and Navy ERP working groups and requires coordination and communication with principal command stakeholders, DMAG end users, and external stakeholders.
  • Perform and coordinate review with key DMAG stakeholders of Navy ERP functional design change documentation to ensure accurate and complete business requirements definition; consolidate feedback to Navy ERP functional team
  • Evaluate Navy ERP releases and coordinate activities to identify and minimize impacts of system changes on NAVAIR business operations
  • Coordinate quality assurance and test activities in support of changes to Navy ERP software, DMAG or Navy business process changes, and/or Navy ERP Software Upgrades to assess impacts to DMAG and recommend corrective actions
  • Support Month End Close and Year End Close activities
  • Support the development/maintenance of DMAG end user training documentation and activities to update/maintain the DMAG Navy ERP training environment (e.g., master data build and troubleshoot functional issues) for DMAG end user training

Qualifications:

  • Secret clearance required
  • Three to 10 years of related experience.
  • Of the minimum required experience, at least four (4) years must be financial management experience, and two (2) years must be within DoN. Financial management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR) and the PPBE process.
  • At least two (2) years of experience using Navy ERP to perform financial execution functions.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial, Business Administration or related field.
  • An additional four (4) years of experience (total of 7-14) and an associate’s degree or an additional six (6) years (total of 9-16) of work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
