We are hiring an Industrial Electrician Supervisor for an underground zinc operation in rural NYS.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the electrical team.
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate daily tasks.
- Maintain inventory and schedule material orders for upcoming projects.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs for electrical components, including PLC panels, drives, motors, fans, VFDs, transformers, pumps, and generators.
- Work with various electrical systems, including 4-20 mA, 4160V, 13.8kV, AC up to 480V, 5kVA, and DC voltages.
- Read and follow electrical schematics and prints.
- Provide support to both underground and surface electrical operations as needed.
- Develop a working knowledge of hoisting and crushing systems, with the ability to troubleshoot these operations.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Experience with PLC systems and AC/DC drives.
