Job Summary

The Mobile UI/UX Designer position main function is to ensure the quality of the mobile applications user experience complemented by an aesthetically pleasing user interface for the end users. This role design the user experience (UX), ensuring the application is visually appealing, user-friendly, and intuitive. Work Location: Columbus, GA or Scottsdale, AZ

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and Prototyping

  • Create wireframes and prototypes.
  • Iterate designs based on feedback and testing results.
  • Ensure designs are feasible and implemented as intended.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with product managers, brand marketing, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure a cohesive product strategy.
  • Present designs and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval.

User Research and Evaluation

  • Understand user needs, behaviors, and demographics through research activities.
  • Evaluate user experience and app functionality.
  • Ensure the functionality, usability, and consistency of mobile applications.

Industry Awareness

  • Stays updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in mobile app design

Qualification Requirements

Education:

Requires a level of knowledge normally gained with a high school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 5 years experience

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Working knowledge of iOS and Android mobile operating systems and their relative user interfaces
  • Strong background in mobile app UI/UX fundamentals.
  • A good understanding of mobile platforms.
  • Experience conducting usability tests, and an ability to empathize with users’ unique perspectives.
  • A self-starter who assumes responsibility for their work, accepts direction and feedback from co-workers and managers, and happily helps make anyone’s good idea a reality.
  • Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about quality.
  • Ability to have regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
