Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for inventory problem identification and resolution. This position will also develop recommendations in support of optimization and efficiencies in the warehouse.
Essential Functions
Warehouse environment; may be subjected to loud noise, temperature, and weather extremes
Equipment/Machinery Used
Office equipment including computer, fax, photocopier, calculator, telephone, WMS handheld equipment, motorized power equipment to include pallet jacks, forklifts, stock-pickers.
Physical Requirements
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity, visual acuity, reaching, bending, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for inventory problem identification and resolution. This position will also develop recommendations in support of optimization and efficiencies in the warehouse.
Essential Functions
- Run maintenance and velocity reports in WMS and preform associated bin tasks based on report metrics.
- Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts.
- Coordinate the inbound inventory (receiving) process.
- Update and produce inventory reports.
- Report and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Research and send out short ship report on a daily basis via email.
- Correct inventory issues in WMS.
- Request corresponding inventory adjustments in ERP to assigned SCA.
- Quality Control: Process or destroy goods inventory. Maintain records to accurately track losses from damages or destroyed goods as well as ensuring that saleable goods are recouped and returned to stock.
- Prepare for auditor meetings and work with auditors as needed.
- Partner with the returns department on outstanding inventory issues.
- Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
- Arrives at work, appointments, meetings, and all work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
- Recommend and implement projects as required.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED. Additional education is preferred
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in analysis of inventory movement in a distribution warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office applications and report generating software.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with strong mathematical and analytical skills.
