Announcement Information

This is a part-time non-eligible position limited to 1,000 hours per year.

General Summary

Assists higher level recreation staff in the set up and operation of mobile recreation equipment, program materials and special events. Monitors mobile recreation equipment, games, inflatables, and activities to ensure the safety of users at parks and in communities. Provides customer service to public by answering questions, providing directions, and providing information about Oakland County Parks, programs, and events. Carries, loads, and unloads program materials and recreation equipment from storage areas, trailers and park grounds, facilities, and program areas in various communities. Performs cleaning duties of recreation equipment, inflatables, buses, stages, or program areas as directed. Assists in emergency situations by helping to direct crowds and emergency personnel.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Be at least 16 years old.

Special Requirements

  • May be required to provide safety shoes.

Pay Range

USD $13.99 - USD $13.99 /Hr.
