Catholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health is looking for a Mental Health Care Coordinator to join our team of innovators who explore and develop new approaches and implement novel strategies. Our teams provide individualized, creative and flexible services, infused with evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies.

WHAT WE OFFER:
- Starting Pay Range: $32.10 - $35.71 per hour
Additional Pay/Ability to Earn Additional Pay of:
- First Responder: $1800.00 per year
- Performance-based pay: up to $8000.00 per year
- Bi-lingual skills stipend: $100 -200 per pay period
Training and Supervision:
- Extensive training in multiple clinical approaches
- Weekly supervision and daily support with your Clinical Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:
- Meet and engage the family communicating compassion, support, respect and enthusiasm.
- Provide and/or arrange necessary crisis response and stabilization services.
- Prepare the family for next steps in the intervention.
- Customize helping approaches to fit the family’s uniqueness, personality, culture and interest.
- Provide intensive and strength-based therapeutic mental health services and supports.
- Brainstorm and negotiate strategies that build on child and family strengths.
- Consult with clinical supervisor and mental health specialists.
- Meet productivity and documentation standards.
- Respond to crises in a prompt, effective manner.
- Facilitate the provision of therapeutic responses.
- Utilize parent/family expertise in problem solving.
- Modify and adjust intervention techniques as needed.
- Facilitate a team to implement the plan.
- Reevaluate and modify plans based on new information.
- Inspire confidence in the child, family and team members.
- Arrange and negotiate ongoing services and supports.
- Create and practice a plan for aftercare supports.
- This position will participate in an on-call rotation.
This position will be based out of Family Behavioral Health Portland, Oregon site. It requires scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of youth and families.

- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or equivalent.
- Culturally competent services delivery.
- Engagement skills with children, youth, and families.
- Strengths-based approach appreciation.
- Passion for helping families stay together.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Visual assessment of safety within family homes.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Preference for a flexible schedule.
- Pass required background clearances.
