Looking for a steady route with great pay and guaranteed weekend home time? This dedicated reefer lane delivers consistent miles, reliable scheduling, and excellent benefits, all while offering competitive pay.
Position Highlights:
- Route: Run reefer freight from Missouri to WI, IL, IA, and OH and back.
- Schedule:
oDrivers are home every weekend (Friday afternoon/evening through Sunday evening).
oNight driving required – must be comfortable driving at night.
- Pay:
oEarn $0.54 CPM (or $0.59 CPM if you opt out of company-paid insurance) for the first 2,000 miles.
oFor miles over 2,000, earn $1.00 per mile!
oAverage weekly pay: $1,600+, depending on mileage.
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000, paid as follows:
o$750 after your first week.
o$750 after your second week.
o$500 after six months.
Benefits:
- Health Insurance: Company-paid or opt-out for additional pay.
- Full benefits, including:
oMedical, PTO, and 401K (starting after 90 days).
- Rider Policy: Bring an immediate family member (10+ years old) after 90 days.
- Equipment:
oModern fleet of Mack Anthems and Pinnacles (12-speed automatics).
oNo driver-facing cameras.
oSome trucks have APUs; newer models include Webasto heaters. Idle permitted for cooling.
- Take the Truck Home: Must park in a secure location (not at a truck stop) with tractor and trailer together.
Driver Requirements:
- Experience:
oAt least 6 months of Class A OTR or Regional Reefer/Dry Van experience within the last year.
- Driving Record:
oNo more than 2 moving violations in the past three years (none major).
oNo more than 2 DOT preventable accidents in the last three years (no injuries, rear-end collisions, jackknifes, or rollovers).
oNo speeding tickets over 20 MPH with other violations in the same period.
- Employment History:
oNo more than 3 jobs in the past year or 6 jobs in the past 3 years.
- Criminal History:
oNo felonies in the past 7 years or misdemeanors in the past 3 years.
oMust be off probation/parole for 5 years (felony) or 3 years (misdemeanor).
