Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and graders on commercial and government site development projects.
  • Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to ensure accurate operations.
  • Perform grading, trenching, excavation, and earth-moving tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Follow proper safety protocols, including OSHA and job-specific safety procedures.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and other team members.
  • Adapt to different job sites and adjust operations as needed for project success.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role or field is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who are eager to learn.
  • Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment used in site development projects.
  • Familiarity with grading, excavation, trenching, and general earthwork.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and grade stakes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver's license preferred but not required.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
