At Spartronics, the Shipping Clerk directs the work of semi-skilled team members who perform a variety of functions that directly or indirectly support production functions. Responsible for all shipping activities, domestic and international.

What a Day Looks Like

• Count, pack and label goods for shipment.
• Scan, label and print bar code or quick print labels for assemblies and boxes.
• Prepare shipping documentation per work instructions and commercial requirements in our computer system.
• Maintain shipping files and perform transactions in the computer.
• Operates forklift truck or pallet jack to move, convey or hoist product needed for supplies or shipment.
• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Actively promote safety and accident prevention by continually observing all safety practices, rules and standards throughout each working day.
• Performs daily problem solving activities with assistance of management and engineering teams
  
  

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field (preferred)
• 1 – 3 years related work experience
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (creation of spreadsheets, formulas, v-lookups)
• Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Perform to schedule
• Working knowledge of manufacturing principles including Six Sigma and Lean (preferred)
