Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and optimize procurement activities for Vision’s Hotel development team. This role will streamline purchasing processes, negotiate with vendors and ensure cost effective and timely delivery of goods and services at each phase in the new Hotel development process.
The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our team when needed, living our “ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.” philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.

Necessary Skills:
- Oversee and standardize procurement operations across the new Hotel development timeline ensuring optimum quality and pricing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts that meet the specific needs of each new development
- Monitor budgets and spending to achieve cost savings while maintaining high standards of service and product quality
- Ensure procurement practices align with sustainability goals and regulatory requirements
- Implement efficient inventory management systems to minimize waste and maintain optimal levels of needed supplies
- Proven experience in procurement within the hospitality or hotel industry
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage procurement for multiple entities across numerous locations
- Subject Matter Expertise in cost control, vendor relations, and contract management
- Clearly understands all upstream and downstream implications of their work and its’ impact on all business partners throughout the development life cycle of multiple projects taking place at once
- Will eventually work closely with hotel management teams to anticipate operational needs and deliver timely procurement solutions
- Demonstrating strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch and lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- You will be working in a collaborative office setting with other workers, where various communications, work tasks, and common office activities are happening throughout the day.
- Must be able to remain focused, manage distractions, and effectively handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Must be adaptable to working with a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds..
- Have Knowledge and the ability to operate computer and office equipment.
- Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English
