We are looking for a talented Material Transport Driver who will be responsible for supporting the shipping process by picking up and delivering material to ensure project success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and pick up purchased and/or manufactured parts from customers & suppliers as needed
  • Make daily runs to Link Plymouth, Fab, and the post office as needed
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Operate the Hi-Lo and pallet jacks to deliver material to the next process
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving activity as needed.
  • Perform general housekeeping as instructed by management.
  • Perform material movement in a safe, controlled manner, utilizing the required equipment.
  • Responsible for submitting an accurate labor ticket on a daily basis.
  • Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
  • All other related duties as assigned.
  • Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping/receiving position or work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience
  • Previous hi-lo operating skills (forklift certification preferred)
  • Chauffer’s license endorsement (CDL preferred)
  • US DOT Medical Card


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently with little to no supervision as well as within a team.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Written, Oral, & Interpersonal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to speak verbally and read in English
  • Ability to walk.
  • Ability to see with corrective lenses.
  • Ability to hear.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Able to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.

  • Normal hazards related to road and air travel.
