The Data Analyst in a support capacity plays an integral role in assisting with the development, maintenance, and analysis of key data tools and reports. This position supports business operations by ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis to drive decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting tools, as well as the ability to assist teams by providing data insights and responding to ad hoc requests. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of data tools to support various business operations including workforce planning and performance tracking.
  • Provide support for data management systems, ensuring that data is organized and accessible for stakeholders across the company.
  • Help structure and update business intelligence reports, ensuring they meet ongoing business needs.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating forecasting models and performance reports, ensuring they reflect current business conditions.
  • Assist with the administration of incentive programs and performance metrics.
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools, using platforms like Power BI or Excel.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests, providing support to internal teams with actionable insights and data analysis.
  • Aid in evaluating and improving corporate data management systems for greater efficiency.
  • Provide support for the development of new tracking and analysis methodologies to enhance business operations.
  • Assist in expanding corporate dashboard capabilities, enabling real-time business insights for leadership


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of business analysis experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques like Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.
  • Experience working with CRM or business management systems for reporting and analytics.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive projects forward.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and presenting data insights to leadership.
