Job Description

The Vice President of Marketing and Communications is a strategic leader responsible for

developing and executing Bronson's comprehensive marketing, communications, and brand

strategies. Reporting directly to the executive team, this role ensures alignment with Bronson's

mission, vision, values, and strategic goals while fostering a unified brand identity.

This position oversees departmental operations, including team leadership, budget management,

and cross-functional collaboration, and acts as the organization's spokesperson during media and

crisis communications. The VP also drives innovation in digital platforms, public relations, and

employer branding, ensuring Bronson is recognized as a healthcare leader and employer of

choice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a robust brand strategy that aligns with

Bronson's mission and strategic priorities. Define and refine brand positioning, voice, and

identity to resonate across all audiences and channels.

  • Digital Platforms: Oversee the website, intranet, and social media strategy in

collaboration with IT and service leaders, optimizing engagement and usability.

  • Communication Growth Plans: Partner with stakeholders to design, execute, and

evaluate communication strategies that support organizational growth.

  • Internal and External Communications: Craft compelling communication plans to

elevate Bronson's mission and values. Build strong media relationships and lead crisis

communication efforts.

  • Department Operations: Manage departmental operations, including project workflows,

media purchasing, SEO, and reputation management. Develop and manage budgets to

achieve strategic goals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments (e.g., HR, DEI,

community engagement) to maintain brand consistency and develop a strong employer

brand strategy.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of marketing

and communication efforts, adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business

Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required).

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business

Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required).

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in marketing and communications,

preferably in healthcare or high-performing health systems.

  • Proven expertise in brand strategy, digital platform management, internal/external

communications, media relations, and public relations.

  • Extensive experience in operational management, including budget oversight and project

management within marketing and communications teams.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare consumer behavior, physician referral patterns, and

industry trends.
