Job Title: Regional Director
Who We Are Looking For
Reporting to the COO, the Regional Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their operational team. With limited direction from the COO or other leadership, the Regional Director determines the operational practices of all the facilities within their region, making sure each runs smoothly, cleanly, complies with marketing and sales campaigns and meets budget and sales goals. The Regional Director provides strong leadership to Regional Managers, ensuring all facilities meet company standards, with up to 50% travel required.

- Drive sales and profit to budget through strong leadership, effective planning, and execution of field operations strategies across all facilities.
- Utilize operating reports and departmental results to develop actionable plans for business growth.
- Set and manage operational goals, performance improvement plans, and training for facility teams.
- Maintain high customer service standards, address underperformance, and ensure positive customer experiences.
- Implement marketing strategies, conduct market analysis, and explore local business opportunities.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize revenue through strategic rate management.
- Oversee Regional Manager's responsibilities that include hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Maintain property standards, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

- The ability to travel away from home for up to one week at a time, as requested
- The ability to sit for extended periods of time, including but not limited to 8 hours at a time
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time, including but not limited to 8 hours at a time
- The ability to walk for extended periods of time
- The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment
- The ability to communicate, converse with and express information in person, by phone and through other technology
- The ability to maintain a regular and punctual schedule
- The ability to be a self-starter
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in storage management preferred
- Experience and comfort in engaging in challenging conversations with clients, team members, leadership, and tenants
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free remote work environment suitable for focused and important meetings
- Proven experience working independently as needed, making high-level, impactful business decisions, and knowing when to escalate issues and improvements for approval
- A background screening will be conducted at time of offer.
- For positions that involve driving, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
