Schedule: 7:00AM-6:00PM (Overtime and weekends as required)

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the warehouse Clerk works closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure acceptable inventory levels. This role is the first line of defense for all supplier related issues, as well of the last line of defense on Customer Orders. Responsible for providing appointments to vendors and carriers, communicating order pickups within the organization and addressing past due orders with vendors. Ensures processes and procedures meet and exceed the standards established by Latitude 36 Foods and its customers.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months of Warehouse Experience Clerk/Dispatcher
• Qualified to operate MEWP’s (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) and PIT (Power Industrial Trucks).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure “Safety First” is always practiced and observes and adheres to all job safety rules.
• Abide by ALL GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Abide by Company SOP’s(Standard Operating Procedures)
• Ensures warehouse is ALWAYS Audit readiness.
• Verifies all paperwork is correct, completed and signed.
• Ensures all paperwork is filed physically and electronically in a timely manner.
• Works with the warehouse supervisor to ensure all work orders are received and printed promptly.
• Prints out and attaches an updated location inquiry sheet to all work orders.
• Provide appointments for PO’s (Purchase Orders), Transfers, & Customer Orders based on availability and Inventory levels.
• Check in and out Drivers, ensure all check in and check out documents are completed.
• Confirm that all PO’s, Transfer & Customer Orders Documents are on hand and correct.
• Receive PO’s, Transfer, Customer Returns into the system.
• Ensure incoming product deliveries with adequate shelf life, if not contact appropriate Department
• Ensure Product is received with Correct information.
• Print Labels for Incoming Product, verify information is correct.
• Verifies outgoing product meets Customer specifications.
• Ensures quantities and lots are correct on Warehouse Shipments
• Ensure team members follow FEFO
• Research errors and issues with inventory.
• Prepares and provides reports to supervisor and manager as needed.
• Maintains Warehouse Office in organized and professional appearance.
• Ensure the Warehouse has completed all tasks for Month-End closing.
• Works with warehouse leadership to ensure Transfers, POs, Customer Order are complete within a timeframe.
• Receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, addressing problems, and dispatching appropriate team members
• Review inventory levels, reports product with short shelf life and support the shelf-life extension process.
• Support communication with internal team and Customer Service on Finished Goods with short shelf-life.
• Support the communication and process with product on hold and released.
• Support monitors the work of warehouse workers.
• Other duties assigned by Leadership.
  
  

Physical Responsibilities

• Ability to stand for long periods of time with extensive walking and working in refrigerated coolers (34ºF).
• Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more frequently as needed.
• Normal vision, hearing sensitivity and manual dexterity are necessary in position
