- Bachelor’s degree in sports science, athletic training, exercise physiology or exercise science or strength and conditioning or related field required
- BLS certification
- Minimum of one year experience in the field of sports medicine training and/or a minimum of one year experience in sports performance training for athletes preferred
- Experience with using a variety of sports performance equipment and programming
- One of the following certifications within six months of hire required:
- National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or
- Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F)
- National Academy of Sports Medicine
- Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)
- Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association
- Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) or
- Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC)
- Establishes program content and outcomes.
- Establishes timelines and deadlines for program development.
- Clear communication skills both oral and written.
- Works with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Representation of OMC as an educator, professional in the community, and at conferences.
- Aligns organizational needs with the Athletic Performance programs.
- Stays current with sports medicine and athletic performance practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
