About This Role:

The eCommerce Specialist manages and optimizes the company’s presence on Amazon. Oversees product listings, pricing strategies, advertising campaigns, inventory management, and performance analytics to drive sales and profitability. The Specialist ensures compliance with Amazon’s policies and leverages data-driven insights to enhance visibility, conversion rates, and customer experience.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks

  • Creates, manages, and optimizes product listings, including titles, descriptions, bullet points, and images. Conducts keyword research to improve search rankings and discoverability. Conducts A/B test listing elements to maximize click-through and conversion rates
  • Plans and executes Amazon PPC campaigns, Bulk Buy, Born to Run and Prime day promotions. Optimizes advertising budget for maximum return on ad spend (ROAS). Monitors ad performance and adjusts strategies based on analytics. Develops and manages promotional strategies, including coupons, Lightning Deals, and discounts.
  • Maintains optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Coordinates with operations and warehouse for smooth fulfillment operations. Monitors and improves Amazon’s Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score.
  • Tracks sales trends, revenue, and profit margins using Amazon Seller Central & third-party tools. Identifies opportunities for growth based on customer buying patterns and competition analysis. Provides reports and insights to stakeholders on sales performance and market trends.
  • Monitors and responds to customer queries, reviews, and feedback. Implements strategies to improve product ratings and customer satisfaction. Manages cases and disputes with Amazon Seller Support.
  • Ensures compliance with Amazon’s guidelines and policies. Keeps up-to-date with Amazon algorithm changes, marketplace rules, and trends. Addresses and resolves listing suspensions or account-related issues.
  • Monitors competitors’ pricing, product strategies, and advertising tactics. Implements tactics to protect brand integrity and prevent unauthorized sellers.
  • Identifies opportunities for international expansion through Amazon’s global marketplaces. Explores Amazon FBA, FBM, and hybrid fulfillment models to optimize logistics. Develops and executes strategies for launching new products on Amazon.

Education/Training Required And Preferred

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience Required And Preferred

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing an Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central account.
  • Experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or online marketplace management.

  • Maintains a strong understanding of Amazon’s evolving eCommerce landscape and best practices.
  • Works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align strategies.
  • Amazon Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of Amazon’s Seller Central/Vendor Central, PPC campaigns, and listing optimization.
  • SEO & PPC Advertising: Proficiency in Amazon SEO, PPC advertising, and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to interpret sales data, trends, and key performance metrics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot account issues, manage disputes, and resolve customer concerns efficiently.
  • Experience with eCommerce tools such Magento, Big Commerce, Shoppify, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other departments.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs.
  • Requires ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within timelines.
  • Effective presentation skills. Ability to conduct training and educational programs.

The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition.
