Requirements

Required Licenses and Certifications:

  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant in state of practice.
  • Nationally Certified as PA-C by NCCPA
  • Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical provider is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
  • Current DEA license to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice.
  • Valid NPI
  • Current DOT medical examiner certification in specified locations, as directed by VP of Medical Operations or CCO.

Education, Skills, And Qualifications

  • Master's degree required.
  • At least one year (three years preferred) of clinical experience as a PA in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, urgent care, or emergency department setting.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
  • Current DOT medical examiner certification in specified locations
  • Ability to train ancillary support staff on clinical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records

Other Qualifications

  • Requirements as set forth in the specific contract for the site may include working flexible hours including evenings, nights and weekends. Travel for assignments and/or training may occasionally be required.

$156,000- $176,800
