Retro develops therapies for diseases driven by the biology of aging. We focus on cellular reprogramming and autophagy to rejuvenate cell and tissue function with the ultimate aim of adding 10 years to healthy human lifespan.
We’re building a mission-driven team of accomplished and kind individuals who embrace our startup culture of rapid iteration, transparency, and versatility.
We’re hiring a new member for our hybrid Applied AI team. Our team merges cutting-edge AI/ML models with traditional and emerging wet lab methodologies to accelerate scientific discovery towards longevity therapeutics. In this role, you will be part of the wet lab. You will use your expertise in cell culture and molecular biology to increase our wet lab bandwidth, both running our current platforms and contributing to setting up new ones.
About you:
You are an experienced wet lab scientist who can take protocols from the literature, reproduce them, and quickly adapt them to fit a project's needs. You are organized and rigorous with your science but dynamic and adaptable in your approach to work. You think critically about your work and will effectively communicate and propose new ideas or different ways of doing things. You are excited by the wins, but equally driven by the failures as opportunities to iterate and try again.
