We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Director, Performance Lead to spearhead our biddable media offerings and drive exceptional results for our clients.
As a key leader, you will:
- Lead & Innovate: Oversee CMI Media Group’s biddable offerings (SEM, Paid Social, Programmatic, Digital Video) on assigned accounts, driving innovation and delivering best-in-class performance.
- Shape Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with client brand and marketing objectives, ensuring effective implementation and performance analysis.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across various departments (Engagement Strategy, Client Finance, Ad Ops, Media Investment, Analytics, and more).
- Drive Thought Leadership: Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, both internally and externally, positioning CMI Media Group as a leader in the biddable media space.
- Mentor & Develop: Provide guidance and mentorship to biddable media teams, fostering their strategic and business skills and developing annual staff development plans.
- Champion Innovation: Advocate for the adoption of proprietary tools, data, and new technologies to enhance campaign performance and drive innovation for our clients.
- Lead, innovate, and deliver our biddable capabilities on assigned clients.
- Develop and implement best practices and SOPs.
- Identify opportunities for alternative staffing arrangements to streamline work processes.
- Ensure clients are appropriately staffed and staff is meeting and exceeding billable goals.
- Create and launch new services in collaboration with CMI leadership.
- Establish strategic relationships with key partners (Google, Microsoft, TikTok, The Trade Desk, Meta, etc.).
- Identify and lead omnichannel opportunities to connect biddable media channel data, insights, and strategies.
- Advocate for CMI Media Group and WPP capabilities, introducing additional solutions to clients.
- Partner with internal and client leadership to ensure client satisfaction.
- Continuously educate yourself on new technologies and innovations.
- Hold biddable media teams accountable for executional excellence.
- Represent the organization in public forums and contribute to thought leadership.
- Partner with biddable media leads on identifying teamwork for industry-wide awards and recognition.
- Work closely with senior leaders within CMI Media Group and WPP to deliver best-in-class support.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or a related quantitative/analytical field.
- 10+ years of experience managing biddable media campaigns in platforms like SA360, Sprinklr, TTD, or similar.
- Deep expertise in audience suppliers, particularly in video, programmatic, and social media.
- Excellent digital media background and project management skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience leading and building departmental processes, partnerships, and tools.
- 8+ years of team management experience.
- 8+ years of managing partner relationships.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills.
- Ability to create, grow, and expand relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrable passion for learning new technologies.
- Strong business and leadership skills to make independent decisions.
- Passion for working in a fast-growing healthcare media agency.
- Expert in Digital Media best practices, strategy, and execution.
- Healthcare/Pharmaceutical background a plus.
