Operations Supervisor

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring an Operations Supervisor. We are looking for a qualified applicant who will supervisor drivers and freight handlers, oversee the loading and unloading of freight, and ensure company policies/procedures are being implemented.

Shift: Monday-Friday (3pm-Midnight)

Pay: $70,000-$75,000/year - Depends on Experience, Knowledge of the Transportation Industry

What you can expect a typical day to look like:

• Supervise drivers, oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions
• Conducts weekly and/or daily meetings with shift personnel to discuss updates and address any issues
• Coordinate with personnel to maintain and repair company vehicles
• Work with customers to resolve freight issues
• Able to carry out the job duties of driver positions supervised to ensure customer service expectations are met
  
  
  

What you will need to succeed on the job:

• Two years supervisory and transportation experience required
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, logistics, math, and communication skills
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
