This position oversees the development and maintenance of business relationships with groups for the U.S. Market ensuring attainment of revenue objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics and the customer needs to effectively position products and services. This position Coordinates the development of sales objectives, go-to-market strategies, and promotional programs and ensures their execution. Manages and audits the business relationships with key Group accounts and identifies/pursues growth opportunities for the market. Responsibilities include management of the DSO / Special Markets team and ongoing collaboration with other channel teams.

  • Orchestrate sales and marketing initiatives through the Special Markets team, HuFriedyGroup departments, and field sales organizations. Proactively communicates required action to all HuFriedyGroup departments. Secures support activities necessary for achieving North America sales goals. Partners closely with Commercial Finance and Sales Operations to create and distribute a compensation program to motivate the Special Markets team for the desired outcomes.
  • Manages the business activities of the HuFriedyGroup Special Markets team to ensure the annual sales objectives, selling strategies, promotional plans and management of the Key Account Managers provides achievement of the annual North American sales objectives for revenue and margin expansion.
  • Through participation on HuFriedyGroup’s Leadership teams, collaborates with other senior management in cross-functional efforts to devise, implement and execute the strategic direction of the company, supporting the goals of growth and expansion as well as new customer acquisition. This may include go-to-market strategies, business development, dealer and channel development and profit margin improvement, as well as other key initiatives.
  • Make certain long-term, trusted business relationships are achieved with all key customers, sales channel partners and dealers, securing their preference for HuFriedyGroup products and services. Develop personal relationships with customers within North America, major distributors and large, customer group practices.
  • Develop creative solutions to complex business problems. Analyze business and market conditions. Understand and communicate changes to the market and make recommendations that address the needs of our end user customer.
  • Learn, understand and share with HuFriedyGroup Leadership team strategies, tactics, goals, plans, scorecards, objectives, etc. of special market accounts and direct customers.
  • Learn, understand and share with HuFriedyGroup Leadership team the role competitors play within and outside of Special Markets and enterprise dentistry markets, including annual business performance and trends, dealer engagement, network expansion, and new go-to-market strategies and partnerships.
  • Champion the company’s commitment to develop people within the sales team and across capabilities by mentoring, coaching, identifying areas for growth, celebrating successes, providing encouragement and recognition as appropriate and deserved, managing promotion processes and identifying and/or establishing training opportunities. Hire, train, develop, and manage all performance issues.
