Position Details

We are seeking a motivated Salesforce Intern to join our team for a summer internship. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Salesforce development, administration, and business process optimization, ideally within a government contracting environment. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects that impact government operations. We leverage Salesforce to drive digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer engagement for our clients.

  • This is a hybrid position based in Leesburg, VA. From mid-May to mid-August, interns will be required to work onsite 2 days a week at the Leesburg, VA office. Limited hours may be available between the date of hire and the start of the summer session for interested and readily available candidates*

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Salesforce administration, including user management, security settings, workflows, and reports.
  • Support Salesforce development, including configuration, automation, and customization using declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder, Lightning App Builder).
  • Participate in data migration and integration tasks to streamline information exchange across systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and implement Salesforce solutions.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and document findings to ensure system integrity.
  • Assist in user training and documentation to support adoption of Salesforce features.
  • Research and recommend Salesforce best practices and emerging trends applicable to government contracting.

Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong interest in Salesforce administration, development, and CRM solutions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, such as objects, fields, reports, and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Internship or professional experience is a plus.
  • Salesforce certification is a plus.
