Maintenance Electrician

Express Employment Professionals has an immediate job opening for a Maintenance Electrician for a Manufacturing company in Lincoln Ca.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Maintenance Lead, this position supports the plant facility in all areas of Maintenance and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General supervision from Drafting Supervisor, Project Manager, and/or National Sales Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks on time
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical principles and systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Technical training is a plus.
• Proactive, self-starter individual
• Must be able to interact with all members of process team and managers.
• Predictable Regular attendance is required.
