The Human Resources Assistant will provide support to the Human Resources department in the areas of onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, and compliance. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist with onboarding activities, including conducting background checks. Maintain employee records and respond to employee inquiries. Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Conduct HR-related research and analysis as needed. Assist with compliance activities and training, process payroll on a weekly basis, and other HR-related tasks as needed.

Skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while maintaining confidentiality. Proficient in HRIS systems, Bridgit Bench, ClickSafety, Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and Zoom.

Experience

The Human Resources Assistant has 1 year of experience in the human resources’ role. Often has a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
