Manufacturing Engineer

Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications
MITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our Prescott Valley, AZ location.
This position has direct accountability for achieving business objectives by leading the manufacturing teams to achieve operational excellence by championing key performance indicators such as safety, on-time and complete delivery, quality assurance, overall facility functions and productivity improvement/cost reductions.

- Take affirmative steps to ensure that all products produced are compliant with internal engineering specifications and quality standards in the most efficient manner possible.
- Mange the implementation of all Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s) related to the Prescott Valley production facility.
- Recognizes and takes steps to resolve operating problems to minimize their impact on the operations.
- Provide leadership to meet or beat budget, as well as other key financial performance goals relating to manufacturing processes.
- Enforces company policies in a fair and consistent manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or related field and 3-5 years manufacturing experience, or a sufficient combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.
- Superior leadership and team building skills with a demonstrated track record of leading teams to the achievement of superior results.
- Practical knowledge of process improvement tools: Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, Five S, etc.
- Strong mechanical analysis, problem-solving, concept modeling, and mathematical skills.
- Practical knowledge and experience utilizing world class manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant laws, regulations, codes, guidelines and administrative best practices related to Building Products industry.
- Proficient using 2D AutoCAD and 3D computer aided drafting/design software, SolidWorks 3D experience preferred
- Fluent in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Available to travel if needed.
